Today my Literacy class is learning about Dead Car Clean-up.In the 3 slides it ask questions and what they do with the the Dead cars.

Dear Ms Tapuke,

Paragraph 1: Introduce who you are (things like your culture, family, age)

My name is Penny.I am from New zealand,I am 12 years of age,my cultures are Moari and Cook island,I am the Second youngest of seven siblings in the family

Paragraph 2: What are some of your interests or favourite things ?

I am a big fan of sports i really like to play heaps of sports,At school i play Rugby,Touch,Netball,Tag.Those are also my favourite sports i like to play in tournaments.

Paragraph 3: What do you like and dislike at school? What are your goals for 2018?

My favourite subjects in school is Art,Sports,Maths.I really like to work in groups with others and using my chromebook to learn.i don’t like doing literacy because it's quite boring for me.My goals for 2018 is to get better at maths and to get a good report.

Paragraph 4: What does a good teacher do? How can Ms Tapuke support you this year?

I really like it when the teachers help me when i need there help.Ms Tapuke can support

Andrew Patterson & Raenan

Today Andrew Patterson and Raenan came to pt england school and talked to us about achieving our goals and what we are looking forward to next year.What i am looking forward to for next year is been a year 8 and stepping up and been a role model to the little kids in the School when i do that then i know that i am gonna be a role model when i go to college.After the talk we had to watch a video about this boy living without his dad for 5 years because his dad was a mongrel mob member and he got into trouble with the police. During those 5 years without his dad her went to M.H and he went to camp and people had sponsored him to go to the camp he meet alot fiends.

Atheltics Day

Last Friday our very own pt england school had athletics day.Some parents came to watch their kids attend the different rotations.One of my favourite events is sprints and it always has been my favourite event ever since i being at pt england school.Once you go to your event the person that's there will tell you to go into your house colours and line up into 4 lines.Then you will verse 2 house colours and whoever wins gets house points and then we keep playing for 20 minutes until the bugle goes and then you move on to the next event.

I have a question for you what was your favourite event and why?

Mr Patterson

Today Mr Patterson came to have a talk with the year 7&8. 1 thing that i learned from him is that even if you are young,you can change someone's life.Like a 11 year old boy named willy was walking to school and saw a homeless guy sitting.On the floor crying and willy talked to him and the homeless guy said my i got kicked out of my house and my marriage broke.So willy was giving his lunch to him and his money willy was doing that for 2 weeks.


Second thing that i learned today that Karma means that when you do something good you receive it.Be a giver not a taker that means don’t be selfish and give anyone can be a giver.The next thing i learned was Aim for success A stands for aspiration and I stands for inspiration and M stands for motivation.

If you love what you do,you will never work a day in your life.That means if you love been a professional sports player that means you will never work a day in your life.That means you will have a nice house and a nice car for your family thats what i learnt for today.
